What is a Bambino?
It's a warm, flaky, scone-like food-pocket stuffed with yummy ingredients.
How big is a Bambino?
Approximately 3.5 inches in diameter.
Where are Bambinos made?
We make each Bambino from our secret Argentine-inspired recipes of dough and sauce daily at each store.
Why do Custom Bambinos take longer than Bambinos on the menu?
Since each Bambino is individually crafted by our skilled cooks, we prepare just enough Bambinos on the menu to get us through a lunch rush or a dinner rush. Since we cannot anticipate a Custom Bambino order, we must individually craft that specific Bambino and cook it. That takes time. We suggest you call in before you come so that we can prepare your Custom Bambino ahead of time.
What kind of oil is used for cooking?
Canola. We use the best type of oil because we have you in mind. Here's a blurp from WebMD about Canola oil: "Although it's low in saturated fat, canola oil is very high in healthy
unsaturated fats. It's an excellent source of the omega-6 fatty acid, linoleic
acid, and it is higher in the omega-3 fatty acid alpha-linolenic acid (ALA)
than any other oil commonly used. These fats are particularly important in the
diet because the human body can't produce them."
What's the wait on the Fries?
We want you to get the freshest fries to compliment your Bambino, so we cook our fries to order.
How do I reheat a frozen Bambino?
Frozen Bambinos are cooked, so they only need to be reheated. The best method is to let the Bambino thaw. We recommend you removed the Bambino from the Freezer and leave it in the refrigerator overnight. Once thawed, remove the plastic bag but keep the paper bag packaging. Microwave the Bambino for 30-40 seconds on high. OR Remove the paper bag packaging and place the Bambino in a toaster oven at 350 degrees F for 2-3 minutes. Another method to reheat the Bambino, although not highly recommended, is to removed the Bambino from the freezer and remove the plastic bag. Place the Bambino in the microwave for 3 minutes 30 seconds on defrost mode. Caution! Bambino will be HOT! For more crispiness, remove the paper bag packaging and place the Bambino in a toaster oven at 300 degrees for 1 minute or to the desired crispiness.
